Oh, thanks for your tips so much. I do appreciate that! I’ll try to follow your way to make a progress in learning English. I’m so shy. Denis,Thank you very much for sharing these precious experience with us. I began to read loudly when i read the paragraph of “read aloud”. Afer finishing the whole article?i felt thirsty:) . I seldom thought so much about how to practise my english, your words just waken me up to think about in what way could i study english more effective and efficient.
In an other word, if we want to improve our english, we couldn’t be afraid of lose face and seek every opptunitis to speak english.

Oops, I just saw that you *did* mention language partners — but still, I recommend doing this online and via skype (but even better in person of course!)

Definitely agree with you on these ways to practice English. However, I think you missed a big one: time permitting, find yourself a pen pal or language exchange buddy. The best site I've found for this sort of thing is InterPals Penpals and language exchange. It's in English, so right off the bat it's good English practice, and I soon found several good friends to practice with. There have been times when they are learning Chinese, so we have been able to do a real language exchange. Anyway, if you have some time to kill, I highly recommend it (but be careful, it gets addictive =) ~Mefi

Thank you ,Denis. I completely agree with your opinions. It’s very and very important for a language learner to practice the language. As a english learner, I am happy to share my experience of learning english with all of students at MyEE.
1, practice the words you know, practice the sentense you memorize.
2, continuely learn and repet new words.

How do we practise our English? I think Denis have already answered this question in detail.
I want to talk about learning a word. If you read or listen a word very often, you should check this word and memorize the word’s spell and pronunciation. you need to know this word on paper and understan this word when you hear this word.

The conclusion is that to memorize is only the first step, and to practice is the most important step.

Thanks for your comments Hazel, Kathy and Sabz. In fact if I decided to write on this topic, it’s because I have had talked a lot about it with friends and I have been quite embarrassed with their opinions.

I would love to have a teacher who has had this experience comment.
